Henchmen of stable wandering
over the grid marked woods
buckets of hacked and bundled wires
feet and forearms on plastic ribs
grunting wheels of rubber in a high apron
chemical stacks and transparent reels
pierced bubbles in stuck piles
torn names on clumps of tape
bright rubber lines through blinking pulleys
lips burning wrist and neck veins
from a cushioned couch,
with a gaze and remote

rivers of beyond sight's curve
tipping tables and desks
deep fang-planted chairs of that time
a split well for gravity's microphone
an implant heart
beneath the bounce
of a waffle iron's lid
ghost hand slaps and plaster chips
from the giving way of open space.
