Turning the water into light
levitating golf balls
flickering newsprint skin
adorning his clenched halo.

Coolers overturned
wide mouths of spilled ice
the hammer green and pitted sand
flags whipping and rattling.

Tender paths along the outskirts
peering from pecked-out tree trunks
slabs of bone vacating tar
heaps of dripping playpens
a cliff side subdued into streets
hot miles of speaking wire
a sun sized globe of paint
and a sparking tool.
