I'm a ragged torso
pushed away from legs
and shoveling brains
while the waves gravitate
to one window
while the seams of the frame
fill with lips and split
in the newsprint flat land
I'm a cartoon juggernaut
bleeding from the hair thin lines
dead alphabets have laid down
this bucket mouth stilted on a salt stalactite
and gulping lightning
forked over to the furnace that knows my name
imprisoned catapult and scarp
this tongue lit cipher scrawling hard.
