lips pressed to the blinking screens
a high blue light
in the chestnut rafters
the ribs of a water tank
electrifying a two handed drum
fluting a smoke tainted throat
from the raunch of a high room
the breeze that assembles children
limbs of an assimilating road
collecting crates of colored light
and black neon
padded turf
amongst the flying arrows
armchairs for a velvet war.

The spread basin echoes
tires crunching faint mass
where the shovels heap
diamond salt and disintegrated pepper.
A light-flash in the guts
mapping acid battery
the trap of connecting lids
an infertile tongue.
