Foundation lyrics crumbled
in a pierced hallway
numerals painted over by a whirling sash
the dreamer forgetful of eyes
who would be their wanderer
ice cracking in his back brain
nuzzled by a table
and admitting a drowsy light;
inheritance accepted by degrees
and vomited with great regret

hair's bullet-cut,
curbs flickering freshly cut stone.
