fenced-in whirlwinds spurting jagged glass,
dirt as muscles growing vacant spasms,
paper bodies shredding antique walls,
tumbleweeds flinging razor'd teeth,
thorn-paths climbing painted tires,
leafy missiles combing through the air,
apartment tunnels zooming sewage meat,
flowers dipped in the light of clay sprouting pox,
eyes in piles riding rusty plows,
fevered skins in a flagpole's rind,
a curlicue of bronze drinking straws
from a fermented grave,
