  Cast on an uneven shelf     lapped at
    the circuitry in sand    responsive
burnt sides the cavern of life streak eyes
     twiddling knobs in the rock face
    body onshore for the death dance
 rain falling in the rain room
     history dimmed in the history room
    the sleeping giant stretching my skin
                                   is a quiet rumbler.
