my older friends are beginning to complain
about death pangs
I feel the death pangs lighter than they do
but I feel them
and their older bodies are eating my younger body
just by talking but it's not their fault
it's the death pangs
painfully taking over
this is too sad to continue
I wish this had never begun
my body complains in a small voice
that will soon be louder
