VASELINE BIBLE

Heck is a toner and tubes,
a jar of cold text in the twigs
invasive cream and a pancake makeup
spindles of yarn with lemon wedges
ice water bath gaps between plants
bright orange red heads that rake my thighs
hatch wool, silk, fur, eating animal fiber
colored and patterned evenly among the plates,
with a long, curved beak, popping champagne buildings,
coming cobras, green pit vipers, and the ruins of a two
with moss, engulfed in vines to defy gravity

Finally came back to this and how glad I am. You are one of the best, Luke. Thanks for putting it out there for the rest of us to see.
