steps outlined on a flinch of milk
crying molecular beams to a church of branches
where some swimming hand
stacked the wrinkles of a put-out cigarette
plates in gilded coils and flat embroidery
ceiling aflame with hair and roving nostrils
eyes heavenward piercing plaster
guy's outline on a curl of snake
where the puddle caves in
and the paved floor glistens.
